Birth Pool in a Box

Worldwide the most common delivery bath. Designed by and for midwives and pregnant women. Watch the instructional video for an impression of the working method.

1

White bottom

We are convinced of the advice of professionals, and midwives have asked for a white floor to promote visibility in the bath.

Space for partner

shared experience

The largest bath has plenty of space, so that the partner can also take a bath if necessary.

No drain plug

no weak spot

Midwives and mothers agreed that a drain plug would be an unnecessary weak spot of the bath.

Choice of two formats

Normal & Mini

Some have limited space, some want to get in with their partner and some want as much room to move as possible in the bath. This is why we have the bath in two sizes.

Extra strong handles on top

More grip

Mothers asked for handles to have full control while moving in the water. They are also used for grip during contractions or to hold them when getting in and out.

Adjustable height

Three separate air chambers

This is safer than one large air chamber in case of an occasional leak. It also allows you to adjust the height.

Egg-shaped

sense of security

Some mothers said they wanted a sense of security and others a sense of freedom of movement. That's why the bath got an egg shape. The seat sits on the narrowest side together with the upper handles. A favorite spot between contractions.

Tested for quality, durability and stability

Each bath is inflated and tested in the factory, so there are no faults and 5-10% is randomly tested again by independent inspectors. The edges are strong enough to carry a weight of 95 kilos, so you can lean and sit on them with ease. Partners and midwives love the width of the edges.

Extra strong side handles

Mothers wanted handles on the outer sides (2 pairs) of the bath to be used when leaning over the edge (on the knees). They are at an angle of 30 degrees for maximum comfort.

Solid blue color

Do not be distracted

Mothers wanted a wide rim around their heads, without distracting images and/or logos.

No handles inside

Mothers and midwives agreed that handles on the inside hinder freedom of movement and the proper use of an inner cover.

Cupholder

To make sure that the woman giving birth drinks sufficiently, without having to ask for it, a cupholder has been installed.

Seat

Mothers asked for a comfortable place to sit so that they could have a nice bath with the baby after delivery.

Transparent wall inside

Mothers love the perception of space created by the transparent interior.

Height adjustable

Midwives indicated that some pregnant women need a lower step in and out of the bath easily. So adjusting the height of it was a requirement. Let some air out of the middle ring and fill the upper and lower ring with more air.

This is safer than one large air chamber in case of an occasional leak. It also allows you to adjust the height.

Opaque exterior

Mothers unanimously agreed that an opaque exterior provides a sense of privacy and security. We know that relaxation provides pain relief (oxytocin) and a sense of security and privacy contributes greatly to this.
